That is right my one of my jobs for the day is to update the websites facebook page… I wounder if I will officially be able to say that my profession is facebook stalking after this… hmm
This week has literally felt like the week of death I have been very sick since Monday. I had a fever Wednesday, and a little bit of one yesterday. Also the week of death because it was my aunts funeral yesterday, which went well; but obviously very sad. As far as work has gone, I went home early Tuesday, because I was barely functional, and Wednesday I worked from home in between my napping sessions; yesterday I had off to be with my family, and today although I am still very sick I am at work.
Hey you mentioned at the end of class yesterday that you change the resolution on a screen shot from 72dpi to 150 dpi! How do you do this?
Aisling…. All I really remember is that a box popped up and asked me to set my preferences.
I know I haven’t been that active on here lately, but with everything going on in my life I highly doubt anyone would blame me. Thus lets do a week in review again. This past week was the week from hell, I have been working none stop, close to almost 60 hours a week which is great except for the fact that most of my shifts are ten hours long, and i am usually the last one to get a break if I even get one. Then there is the fact that I feel like Ive become a ditsy moron, always forgetting things, or not able to comprehend simple things. Therefore I have a feeling I will not be getting rehired at the end of the holiday season, which kinda stinks, because I really enjoy the people I work with. Glenn came back from Uganda on Wednesday night, which was cool; he said he had a great time and wished me a happy thanks giving. Thanksgiving is where the happy feelings ended for my week though. On Friday I worked from 10am-9 which Ive become accustom too. When I walked through my door I found out my aunt had a brain aneurysm and passed away. Then around 12:30 one of my friends called me because they had gotten left at a party and needed a ride home, which I was more than happy to do. However, when I got to my car I saw that my window was smashed, and my purse was stolen, my purse held my license, my credit cards my old license from the days when they put your social number on it, and my pass ports, all of which I had because I needed them for my new job. So in summation my life was kinda crappy last week, sorry I didn’t blog, but I think I deserve a little slack… oh the best part of the whole thing is that my car was parked in my driveway!
Last week was extremely busy for me, I have been working a lot of hours, because I just got another job. That means including internship I now have three jobs; which is great! As far as the internship goes, There hasn’t been a lot for me to do, because my boss is out of the country, but will be back this week. So needless to say Ive been working a lot on my own stuff, and sleeping when I can. I know I haven’t written a lot on here, but to be honest there’s not much to write.
So Farrier came by the office today which was fun; seeing as Lowell is a fun city to navigate, he had trouble finding a place to park. I completely sympathize with this problem, its a very crowded city. We all had a good talk though very interesting, and yet all so confussing at the same time; I swear I couldn’t articulate a coherent thought the entire time. I’ll admit I was having total focus issues; big time!
Now I’m not feeling good either, so I’m working from home today. I am looking forward to an online conference a little later today which I’m hoping it proves to be fun and exciting.
MY boss went home early, because he wasn’t feeling too well. I got to go around Lowell and take pictures… finally. I met a very nice cop; officer John, he told me where to find interesting thing to photograph. I also met a lovely older couple from Brazil that used to be singers; and they asked me to take their picture. All in all quite an interesting morning. I wish I could have stayed out a little longer though, unfortunately my camera died :( oh well that’s the way the cookie crumbles I guess. Now if only I could figure out away to sneak into part of the old mines; with out dying or being arrested… I did find away to get in through a fence…its just the dying and arresting thing I have to worry about. Officer John told me to check things out, maybe I’ll just delete the part where he said but don’t get into any trouble…
“Dine In” series slides
Working on integrating the logo I’ve made for the series with this photograph. It’s too cheesy to try to make it look like it actually is living in the photo, so I’m working through having it stamped somewhere.
Aisling- I like the image and color scheme, that’s great. I agree that it would be cheesy to make the logo look like it lived in the image, however; I could see it looking like a peeling sticker stuck to that table. On the other hand, I think the logo might look better either lower, or even possibly larger; you have a lot of real-estate you can use.
